Our Practice Principal, Dr Martin Webb is revelling in giving back to the industry that has served him well for over 30 years now.
Martin started out years ago giving lectures to dentists and dental students on the correct use of item numbers. There are the descriptors used by Health Insurance Companies to calculate refunds. He is now an in demand lecturer on multiple topics. These vary from how to ensure you have received consent (and how to record that consent process), to what to do if you find yourself on the wrong side of an AHPRA investigation.
Martin is a Lecturer at the University of Queensland and an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Sydney. Just this week he has presented lectures for 4th year Dental Students at the University of Queensland and 3rd year Bachelor of Oral Health Students at the University of Sydney.
Martin was recently a Keynote Speaker at the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia Symposium in Adelaide.
Already having played a large role in the organizing, he then went on to the FDI World Congress in Sydney. During the 4 day event, Martin not only attended multiple lectures, but acted as convenor for a Symposium featuring an expert panel from around the world.
